This website is operated by Southwest Blinds & Shutters. This notice explains how information is handled when you browse, ask Nikki a question, build a preliminary My Home plan, upload a room photo, or request an in-home consultation.

Information you choose to provide

A consultation request may include your name, phone number, email address, service address, preferred day and time, approximate window count, project notes, and a preliminary designer brief. If you use Nikki or the planning tools, your submitted answers and conversation may be used to create the preliminary plan shown to you.

Anonymous planning on this device

Before you submit a consultation request, planning progress is primarily stored in your browser so you can continue on the same device. It is not automatically connected to your identity. Clearing browser storage or starting over removes that local progress.

Room photos

Room photos are stored privately and are not placed in public URLs or analytics. Access uses private, hard-to-guess credentials associated with the anonymous project. Do not upload photos containing people, documents, screens, or other information you do not want processed for the planning experience.

AI-assisted guidance

When you send a message to Nikki, the message and limited relevant planning context are processed to generate a response and preliminary interpretation. Contact details and private photo credentials are excluded from that AI context. Nikki provides planning guidance, not a final specification, compatibility decision, measurement, or quote.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and privacy-safe steps in the planning and booking journey. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, conversation text, project notes, or room photos to analytics.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to questions, prepare for requested consultations, contact you about scheduling, provide customer service, improve the website, prevent abuse, and operate the window-covering services you request. Requesting a plan or consultation does not automatically subscribe you to promotional email.

Service providers and retention

We use service providers for website hosting, private storage, AI processing, analytics, form handling, and transactional email. Information is retained only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain business records, protect the website, and meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You can browse without submitting a consultation request, decline microphone access and type instead, remove locally saved planning progress by starting over or clearing browser storage, and ask us to review, correct, or delete information associated with a submitted request when applicable.
